Al-Salam International Limousine (hereby referred to as "owner") provides auto rental services of its cars to the appointed person(s) (hereby referred to as "renter") according to the the Arab Republic of Egypt's "General Tariff" as well as according to the terms and conditions stated below:
- The renter accepts the vehicle from the owner in good condition and agrees to return the vehicle in the same condition to the owner within the agreed rental period. Negligence, misuse, or modification of the vehicle will terminate this rental agreement, and as a result, the vehicle will be returned immediately and the owner will have the right to proceed with proper legal action to safeguard his interest.
- The renter must inform the owner of any intention to extend the agreed rental period 24 hours prior to termination of the initial rental period. Failure to do so will result in termination of this agreement, and the renter will assume full responsibility.
- Drivers must be over 25 years old, and must have an approved driving license, either Egyptian or international. All drivers must be named on the rental agreement, and authorized by the owner. If the vehicle is driven by any other unauthorized driver, then this agreement is automatically terminated and the renter will assume full responsibility of this act.
- The vehicle will not be used:
- for remunerated transport of passengers, whether it has been intentionally or explicitly indicated.
- to tow any vehicle or trailer
- to transport goods in violation of custom regulations or in any other illegal manner
- by a driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- in auto races
- in testing of any kind
- above its design limits.
- The renter accepts full responsibility for service and maintenance of the vehicle, including tires. The renter is responsible for changing the engine oil every 1500km, and for regular checks to water and oil levels, as well as tire pressure. No repairs may be carried out without the consent of the owner. Maintenance expenses arising from misuse of the vehicle during the rental period will be charged to the renter's bill. Gasoline used during the rental period is at the renter's expense.
- It is recommended that the renter purchases personal insurance to cover accidents, as well as insurance to protect against vehicle crashes and fire, according to the premium rate and conditions outlined in the General Tariff. Choosing not do so puts the renter under full responsibility for any charges arising out of such accidents.
- In case of accident, fire, theft, or any situation where damage is caused, it is the renter's responsibility to register the case with police immediately, and obtain a police report. Failure to do so places the renter under full legal responsibility. In all cases, the renter is responsible to return the vehicle to the owner and to bear all transportation expenses.
- Renter acknowledges that all information provided to the owner is true, correct, and complies with his present status, and undertakes to inform the owner of any changes that might occur before or during the rental period.
- The owner is not responsible for any loss or damage of the any of the renter's personal belongings if it is caused by a breakdown of the vehicle.
- The renter acknowledges full legal and criminal responsibility of the rented car as from receiving it from the owner and until it is delivered back to the owner. The renter acknowledges his awareness of all traffic signs as well as traffic law during the time of rental, and that he/she is responsible for the safety of all passengers in the rented car. Renter is responsible for the withdrawal or loss of the car license and/or the license plates.
- Any dispute which cannot be settled amicably between the parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian law, and will be submitted to the courts of Greater Cairo, whose decision shall be binding to all parties.
- The owner reserves the right to withdraw the vehicle from the renter at any time and terminate the rental agreement. Consequently, settlement of all dues will take place immediately.
